Team Member Spotlight: Ashley Schneid

Meet Ashley, Digital Marketing Associate!

Hi there! I’m Ashley, a digital marketing associate at Fountain Digital. I joined the team a year ago, stepping into my first marketing role after graduating from The Ohio State University. Joining Fountain has been an exciting journey where I get to explore various aspects of digital marketing, including content creation, SEO, website redesign projects, and beyond. I love the challenge of tackling new tasks and continuously expanding my skills in this ever-evolving industry.

Outside of work, I’m all about making the most of my free time. You’ll often find me trying out new restaurants (I’m always on the hunt for a good food spot), spending quality time with family, snowboarding in the winter, or picking up a good book. Whether I’m out and about or in the office, I’m always eager to learn more and make meaningful connections!

1. Q: Can you share a bit about your background and how it led you to where you are today?
   In the spring of 2023, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. During college, I had the opportunity to intern in product marketing, where I really discovered my passion for the industry. That experience opened my eyes to the many different areas of marketing and all that goes into it, because of this, I knew that I wanted to dive deeper into the industry.
   
   After graduation, I began searching for a role that would challenge me and help me grow professionally. That’s when I came across an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new company as a digital marketing associate. Although digital marketing was an area I hadn’t explored before, I was eager to learn and expand my skill set. After speaking with Marissa and Dave, I knew this was the perfect place to begin my career. Their vision and enthusiasm made it clear that this role would allow me to grow both personally and professionally—and the rest is history!
   
2. Q: What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Fountain Digital team?
   What I love most about Fountain Digital is the people and the opportunity for growth. When I joined, I had no prior experience in digital marketing, but the team created such a supportive environment that I quickly felt at home. Over the past year, I’ve grown tremendously, and I know I couldn’t have achieved that without the incredible people here and I am looking forward to growing even more with them.
   
   Our team is truly one of a kind—we have great camaraderie and a shared passion for what we do, which makes coming to work every day fun. It’s inspiring to be part of a group that not only supports one another but also pushes each other to achieve more and lifts one another up.
   
3. Q: What is your favorite part of digital marketing?
   What I love most about digital marketing is how many different directions you can take. It’s not just one thing—it’s a mix of so many areas that all work together to make it successful. Whether you’re more analytical or lean toward creativity, maybe a mix of both, there are so many opportunities to grow in your career.
   
   For me, the most exciting part has been the opportunity to learn a little bit of everything. Exploring different areas has kept me on my toes and has allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set within digital marketing. I enjoy the challenge of diving into new aspects, and I’m always eager to continue expanding my knowledge.
   
4. Q: What’s something on your bucket list that you haven’t done yet?
   Something on my bucket list is visiting Italy! After graduating, I went on a Europe trip with my parents and explored Ireland, Scotland, England, and even spent a day in Paris. It was such an incredible experience, and I loved getting to see where my ancestors came from.
   
   For my next big trip, I would love to go to Italy one day! I’ve heard so many amazing things about it, and I just know I’d fall in love with the food, the culture, and the scenery!
   
5. Q: If you could only have three apps on your phone, which ones would you choose?
   If I could only have three apps on my phone (outside of call and text) it would have to be TikTok, Facebook ( I know, I know, this might be surprising but it’s how I keep updated with my family! We are scattered all over the United States so its fun to see what everyone is doing), and Spotify.
