Team Member Spotlight: Abby DeBarr

Meet Abby, Digital Marketing Strategist!

I am the digital marketing strategist at Fountain Digital! I help to guide the overall strategy for various aspects of digital marketing. From content creation to social media advertising to email marketing, I get to work closely with all members of the Fountain team to ensure all parts are working cohesively for our clients. 

1. Q: Can you share a bit about your background and how it led you to where you are today?
   I graduated from Ohio State University in 2019 with a degree in English! Having no idea where that would take me, I landed a job as a marketing assistant for a local Assisted Living & Memory Care community near where I lived. This was where I fell in love with digital marketing. I then went on to work as the digital marketing specialist for a beauty company located right here in Cleveland, ultimately leading me to Fountain Digital!
   
2. Q: What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Fountain Digital team?
   The best part of working at Fountain is being a part of a team that loves what they do and is always willing to share their knowledge to help us all become more well-rounded. 
   
3. Q: What is your favorite part of digital marketing?
   My favorite part of digital marketing is that it is always changing. I feel like I get to learn something new every day!
   
4. Q: If you could master any skill instantly, what would it be and how would you use it?
   I would master learning how to play the piano! Its always been a goal of mine and I think I would honestly use this skill to entertain myself (instead of sitting on my phone for hours!)
   
5. Q: If you could teleport anywhere right now for 24 hours, where would you go and what would you do?
   This is a tough one! There are so many places on my bucket list to go, but if I had 24 hours I think I would teleport to the South of France. That’s #1 on my list and I would spend my 24 hours lying on the beach with some French wine in hand!
