Meet Lucas, Digital Marketing Associate!

Hi! I’m Lucas, a digital marketing associate here at Fountain Digital. I joined Fountain a year ago, taking my first steps in a true marketing position. My time here has been filled with infinite learning opportunities and challenges, surrounded by a great team of coworkers who collaborate to deliver results. Outside of work, I’m all about staying active and having a good time with my friends. Whether it’s hitting the gym, playing soccer, skiing, or trying new restaurants and cooking you’ll rarely see me idle!

  1. Q: Can you share a bit about your background and how it led you to where you are today?
I definitely came into the digital marketing space through an unorthodox route. After university, I traveled throughout Central and South America, teaching English in Costa Rica and Colombia before coming back to the US to be a Case Manager. After a year or so of working with children with depression, anxiety, and other social-emotional issues, I took a gamble on myself and completed a coding boot camp at Case Western Reserve University. I‘ve been in the digital realm ever since.
  2. Q: What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Fountain Digital team?
The Fountain Digital team is exactly that, a team. We always have each other’s backs on projects and are willing to hop in and help one another whenever needed. It’s one of the most uplifting and positive work environments I’ve ever been a part of and I look forward to coming in and seeing my coworkers every day.
  3. Q: What is your favorite part of digital marketing?
I love how digital marketing is essentially a giant creative puzzle. From creative pieces to analytics they all influence the end goal and figuring out the path to get there is different every time. It makes for constant learning and new experiences.
  4. Q: What’s a passion or interest you’ve always wanted to pursue but haven’t had the chance to yet?
There are plenty as I’m always looking for new experiences but I would have to say snorkeling/scuba diving. I got a taste of snorkeling when I was in Ecuador and it was one of the most surreal and alien experiences I’ve had. I would love to go on a long vacation and just explore corral reefs the entire time.
  5. Q: If you could create a new holiday, what would it celebrate, and how would people observe it?
This is a hard one, maybe a cultural food appreciation day? I love to cook and think you can learn so much about a culture and its people from the food they eat. So just a day where you invite your friends over and share your food and the stories about where it comes from I think would be a nice holiday.

Try something fresh and new right now.
